The debate about the effectiveness of traditional classroom learning versus online learning has been reignited, especially since the paradigm shift during the recent pandemic. Traditional classroom learning encourages face-to-face interaction, developing social skills and engagement. On the other hand, online learning offers unmatched flexibility, allowing students to learn at their own pace, and cutting down commuting time. These advantages are highly appreciated by students with learning difficulties or those living in remote areas. However, it could potentially lead to feelings of isolation and lack of discipline. Therefore, deciding which method is more effective largely depends on individual students: their personal learning style, pace and their ability to adapt in different teaching formats.
