With a profound history, TCM bone-setting techniques have been developed into a sophisticated system, integrating diverse treatments and therapies. Just like prescriptions need to be made up according to specific conditions, Huang’s bone-setting techniques shall also be applied in line with specific situations of the fractures or dislocations, where major and supplementary techniques shall be accordingly selected. Guangzhou Orthopaedics Hospital has always attached great importance to bone-setting techniques since its establishment, and generations of its practitioners have made tremendous effort in developing these techniques. Among them, Min Huang, an accomplished bone-setting practitioner devoted to research in TCM orthopaedics and traumatology, created Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation. Later, since Chongbo Huang took office as the hospital’s director, he has not only inherited the essence of Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation, but also made vigorous effort to train new generations of apprentices, and innovate related treatments and therapies by integrating modern science and technologies and clinical research, with a view to expanding the influence of Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation.
中医正骨手法历史悠久，源远流长，从简单到复杂，从单一到多种复合。如同临证处方用药一样，正骨手法亦可分为君臣佐使，即医者根据患者骨折或脱位情况，选择有主次的动作协调配合进行治疗。广州市正骨医院从成立至今一直重视中医正骨手法，前辈们在正骨手法的发展方面付出了无数的心血。黄敏勤奋不懈，潜心钻研中医骨伤疾患，对正骨手法的运用有相当高的造诣，并逐渐形成了具有岭南中医正骨特色的“黄氏正骨手法”。黄崇博自上任院长以来，不但继承“黄氏正骨手法”的精髓，还结合现代科学技术手段，积极开展临床研究，不断创新治疗方法，并将其发扬光大，不断培养新的继承人。
Some of Min Huang apprentices are now department directors or academic leaders in Guangzhou Orthopaedics Hospital, and some of them have become well-known orthopaedic surgeons and bone-setting practitioners abroad, and brought Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation to the international stage.
现黄敏院长的部分学生都在广州市正骨医院任科主任及学术带头人，还有部分学徒将黄氏正骨手法带到国外生根、开花结果，成为当地的知名专家、教授，使黄氏正骨手法名传中外。
