Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation ( English-Chinese ) is based on the academic theory of Dr.Min Huang, a“Famous TCM Practitioners of Guangdong Province”and over 30-year clinical experiences of Dr.Chongbo Huang, his second son, the director of Guangzhou Orthopaedics Hospital and also a“Famous TCM Practitioners of Guangdong Province”in treating fractures. TCM bone-setting has a well-established history, emerging and developing with the Chinese nation revolution. Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation while carrying forward the features of TCM bone-setting, has integrated various techniques and adapted to the special cultural, physiological and pathological environment in Lingnan,As a result, it has absorbed the essence of folk medicine and advanced western technologies on the basis of inheritance. Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation has been clinically proven to be highly effective on fractures especially those in upper extremities by relieving patients’pain and their financial burden greatly and shortening their recovery time. Fractures occurred in lower extremities are not discussed in this book as they require longer duration for fixation and recovery.

This book includes two parts: a brief introduction to Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation and detailed descriptions of fractures and dislocations in upper extremities. In the first part,you will know the history, characteristics and academic theories of Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation. In the second part, you will know all kinds of fractures and dislocations in upper extremities including their concepts, etiology and pathogenesis, anatomical structures,types, symptoms, signs and treatments.
