Orthopedics of Chinese Medicine has a long and well-established history and made indelible contributions to the prosperity of the Chinese nation. In recent years, with the increasing awareness of healthcare, there has been a growing demand for high-quality treatments for fractures. Thus, modern Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) orthopedists have the mission to inherit and develop TCM, study TCM Orthopedics in a deep-going way and further improve its diagnosis and treatments.
中医骨伤科学源远流长，为中华民族的繁衍昌盛做出了不可磨灭的贡献，近年来，随着健康理念的提升，人们对骨折治疗要求也越来越高。因此，继承和发扬祖国医学，深入开展中医骨伤学术研究，不断提高其诊疗水平，是时代赋予当代中医骨伤工作者的历史使命和重任。
Min Huang, the former director of Guangzhou Orthopaedics Hospital and recognized as a famous TCM practitioner of Guangdong Province, has developed Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation, based on folk medicine and integration of various techniques. His sons, Chongxia Huang (the director of Rehabilitation Department in Guangzhou Orthopaedics Hospital) and Chongbo Huang (the Director of Guangzhou Orthopaedics Hospital), have thoroughly grasped Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation and improved self-made preparations, establishing a research team and training disciples by apprenticeship.
广东省名中医、广州市正骨医院前任院长黄敏，纳民间经验，汲众家之长，深入探究岭南独特人文及地理环境，从中发掘出具有岭南特色的手法、方药，融会贯通，并授男崇侠、崇博，自成一派——黄氏正骨。崇侠、崇博秉承家学，韵古求新，汲取现代医学新知识，改良和研发本院制剂，成立正骨研究室并带徒授业，使黄氏正骨手法得以传承与发展。
Huang’s Bone-setting Manipulation ( English-Chinese ) is a monograph on TCM bone-setting written by Chongbo Huang and his team based on years of practices.
