



What is the best way for elementary and secondary school students to watch class videos on electronic devices?How can they avoid and reduce eye discomfort, while effectively preventing and controlling myopia occurrence and development?
(1) Students should maintain a distance of 50 cm (about one arm) between the eyes and the monitor when using a computer. The eyes are slightly looking down; that is,the sightline at the monitor is somewhat downward with a 15-degree angle instead of keeping it horizontal. Or keep the center of the monitor ten centimeters below the horizontal sightline.
(2) Students should maintain a distance of at least 10 feet between the eyes and the screen when using a TV set.Likewise, the center of the screen is slightly below the horizontal sightline.
(3) Online learning should be conducted in a room with sufficient lighting . Turn on ceiling lights or lamps when the room is dim. The brightness of the screen should be compatible with the intensity of the room, neither too bright nor dark. If the computer is close to a window, keep the computer screen facing away from the window to avoid light shining on the screen and causing glare.
Keep the eyes a distance of one arm away from the monitor. Keep the sightline to the monitor at an angle of 15 degrees downward.
