Mr Deng got his first taste of Middle Eastern customs and traditions on a trip to Dubai twenty years ago. Since then he has visited the region numerous times travelling across Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Lebanon and Jordan exploring what this wonderfu l Arabian terrain has to offer. From the magnificent sight of the Edge of the World in the Tuwaiq Mountains northwest of Riyadh with splendid views of the plain below, the First Oil Well in Bahrain, the Phoenician city of Baalbek in the Beqaa Valley to the spectacular red rose Nabataean city of Petra one of the New Seven Wonders ofthe World.
As well as its mysterious history, Mr Deng has submerged himself in the culture and the culinary delights that the Arabian Peninsula and the Middle East has to offer. He has visited places that most people would not have had the privilege to have visited and as a keen photographer he has managed to capture some wonderful images of iconic Heritage sights like Anjar and Byblos in Lebanon and Jerash in Jordan, Balad in Saudi Arabia and the mystical Tree of Life in Bahrain.
A most enjoyable journey through Arabia and the Middle East taking in some of the best sights this diverse landscape has to offer and the history behind them.
