Wansheng，70 kilometers away from the main city of Chongqing，can be reached in one hour by car. The scenery of Wansheng is magnificent，among which Black Valley is the most famous.
Black Valley，a national 5A scenic spot，lies in Heishan Town，Wansheng Economic Development Zone，Chongqing，20 kilometers away from Wansheng city.The total length of the scenic spot is 13 kilometers. The main landscape is “one island，three valleys，five gorges，seven districts，twelve peaks，thirty-six bridges，ninety-nine waterfalls，and one hundred and eight ponds”. Black Valley is regarded as a paradise on the earth for sightseeing.
With few people，high mountains，and dense forests，it preserves the intact natural ecology of a few subtropical and temperate zones at the same latitude on the earth. At present，it is the largest natural ecological scenic spot in Chongqing. It is also the first scenic spot in China to set ecological health standards.
In Black Valley，there are various rare animals and plants. Because its forest coverage rate is 97％ and the concentration of negative oxygen ions is as high as 110 000 per cubic centimeter，Black Valley is also known as“the most beautiful health care valley in China”as well as“Chongqing and Guizhou Biological Gene Bank”.
