In 2023, the STA firmly followed the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, thoroughly studied the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important statements on the tax work, and conscientiously implemented the decisions made by the CPC Central Committee and the State Council. Adhering to the general principle of seeking progress while maintaining stability, the STA faithfully implemented the new development philosophy on all fronts and closely focused on the primary task of serving high-quality development. The STA led its tax staff across the country in performing duties and overcoming challenges so as to achieve progress in advancing China’s tax cause.
