“Wu Ming Yi” is a type of mineral in traditional Chinese medicine. It is an ore of pyrolusite. Its appearance is typically round or irregularly shaped, varying in size, and it comes in brown-black or black colors with an uneven and non-transparent surface. According to folklore, a long time ago, there was a hero named Wu Ming Yi who was dedicated to righting wrongs. Whenever he encountered bandits or evildoers, he would casually throw a few black stones, knocking his opponents to the ground. These black stones not only served as bullets to subdue wrongdoers but also had healing properties. When ingested with warm water, they had an immediate effect on injuries, bruises, and bleeding wounds.
As Wu Ming Yi grew older, he passed on the knowledge of these black stones to his descendants, allowing them to continue eliminating violence and helping the people. In honor of this hero, these miraculous black stones came to be known as “Wu Ming Yi.”
