基数词

1 构成

1 数字的表达。

注意：21~99（个位不是0）之间的数词须在十位与个位之间加连字符“-”，如thirty-nine。

在读音时百位和十位之间、百位和个位之间要读and。965，067，557应读作nine hundred and sixty-five million，sixty-seven thousand, five hundred and fifty-seven。308读作three hundred and eight。

2 “万”和“亿”的表达。

英语中表示“万”时，用“10千”：forty thousand 四万。表示“亿”时需用“100个百万”表示，如：two hundred million 两亿。

3 其他注意事项。

1000以上的数字，从后向前数，每三位加“，”；第一个“，”前为thousand，第二个“，”前为million，第三个“，”前为one thousand million，或one billion（美国），然后每一节按百、十、个的顺序表示。

基数词hundred，thousand, million，billion 用作确定的数目时不用复数形式，如two hundred，three thousand。若其后加名词时，名词需用复数，如five hundred students。
