鹿鸣之什·天保

天保定尔，亦孔之固。俾尔单厚 ，何福不除？俾尔多益，以莫不庶。

天保定尔，俾尔 戬 jiǎn 穀 。罄无不宜，受天百禄。降尔遐福，维日不足。

天保定尔，以莫不兴。如山如阜，如冈如陵，如川之方至，以莫不增。

吉 蠲 juān 为 饎 chì ，是用孝享。 禴 yuè 祠烝尝，于公先王。君曰：卜尔，万寿无疆。

神之吊矣，诒尔多福。民之质矣，日用饮食。群黎百姓，遍为尔德。

如月之恒，如日之升。如南山之寿，不骞不崩。如松柏之茂，无不尔或承。

The Royalty

May Heaven bless our king

With great security,

Give him favor and bring

Him great felicity

That he may do more good

And people have more food.

May Heaven bless our king

With perfect happiness,

Make him do everything.

Right and with great success

That he may have his will

And we enjoy our fill.

May Heaven bless our king

With great prosperity

Like hills and plains in spring

Grown to immensity

Or the o’erbrimming river

Flowing forever and ever.

Offer your wine and rice

From summer, fall to spring

As filial sacrifice

To your ancestral king

Whose soul in the witch appears:

“May you live long, long years!”

The spirit comes and confers

Many blessings on you

And on simple laborers

But daily food and brew

The common people raise

Their voice to sing your praise:

“Like the moon in the sky

Or sunrise o’er the plain,

Like southern mountains high

Which never fall or wane

Or like luxuriant pines,

May such be your succeeding lines!”

上天保佑这天下安宁，您的江山永固。

让您应有尽有，什么福气会不给您？

使您有诸多财富，怎么可能不富庶？

上天保佑这天下安宁，给您无尽福禄。

所有的事都合适，您安享天赐的百禄。

降给您的福气至无穷远，不要担心光阴匆促，时日不足。

上天保佑这天下安宁，每一个角落都繁茂兴盛。

就像山岭隆起，丘陵顶天立地，百川到海，绝不会有减无增。

在吉日清洗酒食，孝敬祖宗与众神。

一年四季祭祀不断，供奉先公先王。

祭司代传先君之语：赐你，这万寿无疆。

诸神降临，赐您多福。

民风质朴，日用饮食周全。

从上到下，无不感激您的恩德。

您就像月亮逐渐圆满，您就像太阳冉冉上升。

您寿比南山，永远不会有任何事，对您有所损伤。

您就像松柏之茂盛。这一切，您的儿孙也完全继承。
