秦风·驷驖

驷 驖 tiě 孔阜，六辔在手。公之媚子，从公于狩。

奉时 辰牡，辰牡孔硕。公曰左之，舍拔则获。

游于北园，四马既闲。 輶 yóu 车鸾镳，载 猃 xiǎn 歇骄。

Winter Hunting

Holding in hand six reins

Of four iron-black steeds,

Our lord hunts on the plains

With good hunters he leads.

The male and female preys

Have grown to sizes fit.

“Shoot at the left!”he says;

Their arrows go and hit.

He comes to northern park

With his four steeds at leisure;

Long and short-mouthed hounds bark

In the carriage of pleasure.

四匹黑马，强壮如铁铸，六根辔头，挽在手中。

公爷最宠爱的那个人，陪他一起狩猎。

兽官放出一群野兽，有牝有牡，肥美健壮。

公爷下令朝左走，放箭立即有收获。

狩猎归来游北园，四匹马终得安闲。

车轮轻捷，铃儿脆响，猎狗蹲在车上，目视前方。
