清人在彭，驷介旁旁。二矛重英，河上乎翱翔。

清人在消，驷介 麃 biāo 麃。二矛重乔，河上乎逍遥。

清人在轴，驷介陶陶。左旋右抽，中军作好。

Qing Warriors

Qing warriors stationed out,

Four mailed steeds run about.

Two spears adorned with feathers red,

Along the stream they roam ahead.

Qing warriors stationed on the shore

Look martial in their cab and four.

Two spears with pheasant’s feathers red,

Along the stream they stroll ahead.

Qing warriors stationed on the stream

Look proud in their cab and mailed team.

Driver at left, spearsman at right,

The general shows his great delight.

清邑军人来守彭，马匹健壮装备精良。

染红的羽毛插在两只长矛上，在河边挥舞似翱翔。

清邑军人来守消，马匹威武装备精良。

雄雉羽毛插在两只长矛上，在河边挥舞多逍遥。

清邑军人来守轴，装备精良马匹乐陶陶。

他们忽而向左转车，忽而向右拔刀，军中统帅干得真好。
