昨朝沮授军中失，今日田丰狱内亡。

河北栋梁皆折断，本初焉不丧家邦！

Chü Shou but yesterday was killed，

Tíen ends his life his fate fulfilled；

Hopei's main beams break one by one，

Mourn ye that House！its day is done.

Then Tian Feng died，a prisoner of his lord.

Breaking thus the pillars of his state，

Yuan Shao sealed his northern country's fate.
