王允运机筹,奸臣董卓休。
心怀家国恨,眉锁庙堂忧。
英气连霄汉,忠诚贯斗牛。
至今魂与魄,犹绕凤凰楼。
(1)
Moved by the people's sufferings,
Vexed at his prince's grief,
Wang Yün compassed the traitor's death,
That they might find relief.
Every one knows him a hero,
Leal to the State alway:
Living he guarded the princely towers,
His soul keeps guard today.

Wang Yuan spun an artful scheme
That ended Dong Zhuo's evil dream.
His heart ached for the ruling line,
His brow was knitted for its shrine.
His noble spirit reached the skies,
His heart has joined the guiding stars.
Down below his souls remain
And haunt the Phoenix Pavilion.

Moved by the people's sufferings,
Vexed at his prince's grief,
Wang Yun compassed the tyrant's death
That they might find relief.
His courage to all was known,
His loyalty across the land spread,
Dead though he is,his noble soul
Keeps guard at the tower today.
