The key and difficult points of the work involved following five parts.
(1)There was a lack of reference to risk identifications and warning methods of coal production based on ERM framework.In spite of the preliminary research and accumulation,its further development and study was still with difficulties.
(2)According to the risk identification and internal environment in ERM,a model of accident causing and causal chain in coal production was emphasized in the work.The model involved both external and internal factors.The external factors consist of management machanisms,safety regulations,industrial policies,economic benefits and social safety cultures.Internal factors consisted of improper operation of worker,unstable status of products,unsafe environment and management deficiency.Analysis of the interaction between external and internal factors needed comprehensive data and information,which was quite challenging.
(3)The work focused on a two-tuple assessment model of production risks in coal mine.The model contained three primary indexes,including innate risk sources,triggered risk sources and behavior risk sources.Besides,15 secondary indexes were also involved—gas emission,pressure,content in coal and wind,structure factor,violation system,gas drainage rate,coal combustion,dust explosion,equipment reliability,regulation execution,risk awareness,risk and management,safety investment,working skill and experience.
(4)Based on the internal environment in ERM,the work provided an assessment system with assessment measures of internal environment in Chinese coal production.As the foundation of the work and further studies,this part was a key point with pivotal role in connecting.
(5)The work proposed assessing and warning methods on different risk information,with comprehensiveness,validity and operability.It was the stay point and final focus of the work.
(1)China is famous for its abundant coal,insufficient oil and scarce gas.In Chinese energy structure,coal consumption remained to account for about 70 percent in a long term.Coal fulfilled our huge consumption demand.However,the distribution and mining characters of coal in China result in its complicated production conditions and risk sources.Thus,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the risk identifications and warning methods by systematic risk theory and analysis.
(2)ERM framework with systematic analysis measures was successfully used in the risk management of numerous enterprises and organizations.Thus the systematic identification and classification of risk sources were carried out in coal production with the assistance of elements in ERM.Besides,previous research deficiencies in production safety were also addressed.Thus the relevant risks could be identified scientifically and effectively.
(3)The warning systems and warning methods were proposed according to ERM framework.They were improved and revised through the empirical research of coal production process.Finally,a complete system of risk warning and risk control was built up,providing new research idea and system for risk management research and practice in coal production.
(1)The work studied the risk source identifications and warning methods of coal production in terms of management risks.In addition,ERM theory was applied to risk management of coal mines,which was an innovation in research perspectives and ideas.
(2)The researches about internal environment of coal production management were also innovative in content,as well as its safety objectives and complex mechanisms.
