Abstract

The concept of sensibility is not only a basic concept of Marxist philosophy，but also a critical concept to gain further insight into the revolution of Marxist philosophy.Different understandings and interpretations of sensibility lead to various discourse systems of philosophy and also nurture different philosophical paradigms.For various reasons，people's understandings of this concept deviate from one another for a long time，which can be generally demonstrated in the following three aspects.Firstly，some people only examine Marx's concept of sensibility from the perspective of epistemology and this has undoubtedly overlooked the ontological connotation of this concept.Secondly，some people only interpret Marx's concept of sensibility in an objective or intuitive manner and describe it as a kind of objective phenomenological factor，which has undoubtedly ignored its fundamental significance in understanding and grasping human existence and survival.Thirdly，some people only investigate Marx's concept of sensibility from a philosophical standpoint and even artificially split the internal relationship between Marx's critique of philosophy and critique of political economics，which has undoubtedly obscured its methodological significance in Marx's critique of political economics.Through his critique of the priority and activity of abstract sensibility and critique of understanding sensibility “only in the form of the object ， or of contemplation ”，Marx revealed the reality，objectivity，activity and historicity characteristics of sensibility.Sensibility was therefore guided from passive （passivity） to active （activity），and the understanding of sensibility was directed from abstract theoretical field to real sensible world，realizing the fundamental revolution and historical transformation of philosophical paradigm.

In light of the above-mentioned facts，this book focuses on Marx's concept of sensibility and aims at making comprehensive and accurate combing and interpretation of this concept，so as to rectify all kinds of misreading of this concept and clarify its significance in Marx's critique of philosophy and critique of political economics.With Marx's concept of sensibility as its theoretical line and on the basis of relevant researches at home and abroad，this book is managed into six chapters，including the ideological precondition of Marx's concept of sensibility，the concept of sensibility of young Marx，the concept of sensibility during the establishment of historical materialism，critique of economics in sensibility and historical materialism，Marx's concept of sensibility from an overall perspective，and contemporary

interpretation and significance of Marx's concept of sensibility.Adopted research methods include the combination of text interpreting and theory analyzing，the unification of logic and history as well as the integration of theory and practice.This book systematically combs and examines the multiple connotations of Marx's concept of sensibility，such as ontology，epistemology and methodology.Besides，it also deeply analyzes and explores the important theoretical significance and practical value of Marx's concept of sensibility.Moreover，it reveals and shows the new philosophical trail and philosophical tradition blazed by Marx.
