1.城市医养融合是一个多主体参与的过程，这些参与主体在医养融合体系中的地位、角色不同，追求的目标与所承受的环境压力不同，因而行动逻辑也各不相同。从非常复杂、彼此交织的医养融合参与主体的互动过程中抽离出不同主体的行动逻辑并进行合理分析便是本书一个难点。
2.由于医养融合协作模式是一个多元主体的行动过程，又由于行动逻辑各不相同，导致多元主体的关系结构非常复杂，进而产生诸多合作困境。找准多元参与主体的合作困境，并对城市医养融合机构运作模式的发展趋势做出恰当的判断，提出有效的调适策略就是本书的另一个难点。这不仅体现出一定的理论意义，也有可能促进实践领域的创新发展。
