Introduction ：How to choose the suitable investment and financing mode on stadium building for largescale sports events in China，the experts usually pay attention to funding and efficiency but ignore the influence on the venues’operation after the sports event.At present，people require a great number of large sports venues as more and more international large-scale sports events being hold.However，economic attributes of large sports venues are required to strengthen the innovation on investment and financing modes with Chinese characteristics of large stadiums.
The study object of this paper is the complex investment and financing modes.Through arranging the sorts of investment and financing types of large stadiums’building，aims to propose the new research ideas of operation and management mode of stadiums after the sports events.
Methods ：By means of literature review，case analysis，investigation study and interview with experts，the author has investigated the investment and financing modes of venues for Beijing Olympic Games，Guangzhou Asian Games and other large sports events，propose the innovative types of the investment and financing modes in building of the large-scale sports event venues in China.
Results ：（1）Analysis on the problems of Chinese traditional stadiums’investment and financing modes.Chinese traditional stadiums’investment and financing mode is that the state and local governments invest to build the stadiums and are in charge of the management and operation of the stadiums.Following the boarding scale of investment of stadiums，these shortcomings of traditional modes are obvious increasingly.Firstly，lack of building funds.Secondly，lack of management efficiency.Thirdly，low level of equipment and facilities and single function results in the difficulty to operate after the games.（2）The characters of international-common stadiums’investment and financing modes.The highly developed market economy countries，particularly with advanced sports industry，often have a variety of investment and financing modes in stadiums’building and management.In addition to the common tapes：Naming rights，Bonds and Equity patterns，TOT，BOT，PPP mode used in the building and management of stadiums for large-scale sports events are becoming a mean trend this year.（Table 1）.（3）The choice of investment and financing mode of stadiums’building for large-scale sports games.The choice of investment and financing modes should be made in condition to the stadium features.Meanwhile，the management should consider the building form，stadium tape，difficulty of investment and financing.How to choose a suitable mode of investment and financing，we should be considering all facts，combine all the characters of projects and modes，the common character of the modes and the local conditions at the same time.

Conclusion ：（1）The traditional investment and financing modes of stadiums for the large-scale sports events focus on the use of venues while ignore the operation and management after the games；（2）The present investment and financing modes of stadiums for the large-scale sports events have varies of characteristic.And the distinguishing features are focused on their own facts；（3）Considering all of the investment and financing modes，we should take account of the characters of projects and modes at the same time.
