Introduction ：After 2008 Beijing Olympic Games，China put forward a change from big to strong sports country，and sports science and technology should be required to play the role of supporting and leading in the course.Therefore，the science and technology was facing rare opportunities and challenges.Because of this，the paper aimed to rethink and fix the position of developing strategy of sports science and technology in China.
Methods ：Literature、fieldwork、Delphi method.
Results ：（1）The position of the developing strategy on sports science and technology in China.①Always strive to maintain the rational development of sports science and technology.②Make great efforts to enhance the quality and efficiency of the sports science and technology.③Insist on the principle of“people-oriented”to meet the scientific and technologic needs in the development of the mass and athletics sports.④Promote the innovation of the sports science and technology in order to solve the bottleneck problem in the development of sports.（2）The strategically base of the sports science and technology in China.①Emphasis on the basic research，as well as grasp the strategic high ground in the competition of it.②Strengthen the basic condition building of the sports science and technology，and for its innovation provide material security.（3）The strategic focus of the sports science and technology in China.①Construct the security of science and technology on the mass and athletics sports.②Enhance the innovation ability of sports science and technology.③Promote the transformation and popularization of the achievement，so as to bring its industrial development.（4）The strategic core of the sports science and technology in China.The talent of sports science and technology，is the organizer、manager、practitioner and pioneer，as well as the most decisive factor in the development of the sports science and technology.（5）The security measures on the developing strategy of sports science and technology in China.①Formulate the strategic plan on the development of the sports science and technology in the new period of China.②Deepen the reform on management system of the sports science and technology.③The personnel and the innovative team should be trained.④Increase the investment on the sports science and technology，as well as explore the establishment of multi-channel，multi-form input system.⑤Promote the transformation and popularization of the achievement on sports science and technology and improve the level of the industrialization of it.
Discussion /Conclusion ：The developing strategy of sports science and technology in the new era towards sports power in China，including strategic position，base，key and core，Meanwhile the related protection measures must be implemented，so as to lead China effectively into the construction of the sports power.
