I am Wenda Wang, currently in my second year of Computer Science studies at the University of Glasgow. I have a keen and profound interest in the field of artificial intelligence and computer science. To date, throughout my academic journey, I have had the privilege to collaborate with world-class research institutions and scholars, delving into areas such as artificial intelligence, computer vision, deep learning, and multimodal interactions. I look forward to publishing a series of research papers in SCI and EI journals to further advance my academic achievements.

In my collaborative project with the University of Oxford, I deeply explored the application of reinforcement learning in autonomous driving technology. Our team successfully employed a lightweight neural network to achieve autonomous driving, providing a practical and effective solution for this field. I am now planning to delve into how to use multimodal technology to decode the emotional layer in artworks. I am fully committed to researching the central role of multimodal artificial intelligence in identifying and interpreting emotional expression in artworks,so that we can better understand how artificial intelligence processes and parses information across multiple senses. This research opens up new possibilities for the development of the multimodal field and provides a new perspective for the fusion of art and technology.

I am about to join a significant research project at the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. The two key research initiatives I am about to undertake both focus on achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals: one is to use machine learning models to identify jet engine trails in satellite images, and the other is to use AI technology to protect marine biodiversity. I am passionately looking forward to advancing human society through computer science and artificial intelligence technologies, contributing to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. I hope, in this way, I can contribute to creating a more beautiful, just, and harmonious world. I deeply understand the importance of network security and encryption technologies, so I have delved into these areas. I systematically learned about network security, from basic cryptography and network protocols to advanced firewall configurations and the design of Intrusion Detection Systems(IDS). I studied various network attacks and defense strategies, such as DDoS attacks,SQL injection, cross-site scripting(XSS), and best practices to defend against these attacks.

Moreover, I have a deep understanding and research interest in blockchain technology. I conducted detailed research on mainstream cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum, gaining a deep understanding of their working principles and technical details, including consensus mechanisms like Proof of Work(PoW)and Proof of Stake(PoS), as well as blockchain smart contract programming. I also studied how blockchain solves the double-spending problem of digital currencies and how privacy of users is protected through encryption technologies.

In all my research, I keep a keen eye on practical applications and innovation. I believe that through my efforts and research, I can not only drive the development of fields like artificial intelligence and multimodal interaction but also contribute to global sustainable development and human progress. On the path to academic excellence, I always maintain a spirit of exploration and innovation, looking forward to achieving more in my future academic career. I will continue to apply artificial intelligence and computer science technologies to make a greater contribution to society and human well-being.

I am Yifu Shu, a second-year mathematics student at the University of Glasgow. I have a strong interest in the field of cryptography, and I have devoted a significant amount of time and effort to this area. Although I have not had the experience of collaborating on projects with external institutions, my enthusiasm for learning and in-depth professional knowledge have led to significant progress in this field.

During my studies, I have deeply understood how to use mathematical theories to parse and design complex encryption algorithms. I have not only mastered the basic principles of public key and private key encryption, but also delved into various cryptographic techniques such as RSA,Elliptic Curve Cryptography(ECC), and hash functions. This knowledge provides a solid foundation for my future research and practice.

My passion for cryptography is not limited to theoretical research. I also strive to apply these theories to practical problems, such as designing secure communication systems, protecting the security of network data, and developing secure e-commerce platforms. I firmly believe that through cryptography, we can create a more secure and trustworthy digital world.

In addition, I have also researched quantum computing and quantum cryptography. I have deeply understood basic concepts such as quantum bits, quantum gates, and quantum entanglement, as well as the potential impact of quantum computing on traditional cryptography. I believe that with the development of quantum computing technology, quantum cryptography will become an important direction for future cryptographic research.

In the pursuit of academic excellence, I always maintain a strong enthusiasm for learning and a professional spirit. These qualities have earned me a scholarship at the University of Glasgow and excellent performance in numerous academic competitions. I look forward to achieving more in my future academic career and I hope that my research and work can bring practical benefits to society.

I am a senior Computer Science student at the University of Glasgow, situated in the fourth-largest city in the United Kingdom. My academic journey has encompassed diverse research pursuits under the guidance of distinguished professors. Notably, I have delved into blockchain technology, cryptocurrency development, and network security, led by Professor Vipul Goyal. Additionally, my endeavors included the application of distributed optimization algorithms,with a specific focus on training computer vision deep learning neural networks, under the mentorship of Professor Soummya Kar.

My involvement in group research projects has culminated in presentations, reports, and published papers. Within the network security research group, I have committed myself to the meticulous study of data transmission traceability and the utilization of packet capturing software. My analyses traverse the multifaceted dimensions of transmitted data packets, encompassing purposes, risks, and influencing factors. Furthermore, my research has critically examined network encryption protocols, highlighting their vulnerabilities and avenues for enhancement.

This ascendancy underscores its profound influence on our lives and privacy. As an ardent and forward-thinking Computer Science scholar,I am primed to contribute my research insights to esteemed academic journals and engage in scholarly exchanges with pioneering researchers.
