关系代词有who、whom、whose、that、which和as等。
用作引导从句的关联词，在定语从句中作主语、表语、宾语和定语等，又代表主句中被定语从句所修饰的那个名词或者代词（称为先行词）。当定语从句所修饰的先行词被all、no、only、little和much修饰时，或者先行词本身为all、any、little、much、anything和nothing等时，通常用关系代词that。例如：
Do you know the boy who/that is reading English in the classroom？
你认识在教室读英语的那个男孩吗？
He is talking with the person （that/whom） we know.
他正在与我们认识的那个人谈话。
She is the girl whose mother works in the university.
她就是其母亲在这所大学工作的那个女孩。
There is little that we know about the problem.
对这个问题，我们知道的很少。
He donated all money that he had in his pocket.
他把口袋里所有的钱都捐献出来。
He does little as his parents tell him to.
他很少按照他父母告诉他的做。
