①君王：指项籍。②郑君：即郑荣，这里指不负项籍的人。

虞姬墓，在安徽定远县南六十里。本诗为苏轼于熙宁四年赴杭州途中过濠州时所作。诗人在虞姬墓前，感怀古人古事，赞颂了虞姬和郑荣的坚贞，颇有弦外之音。
