Enquiry can be divided into general enquiry and specific enquiry.

1.General enquiry

In writing a general enquiry letter,you must explain the information you need to know clearly,such as price list and catalogues,etc.

2.Specific enquiry

An enquiry is made to get detailed information about the particular goods,such as price,terms of payment,delivery,etc.

If the buyer and the seller contact for the first time,the buyer must make a brief self-introduction.

In specific inquiry letter,you can ask the other party to provide the following items:

(1)sample;pattern design;sample-cuttings

(2)catalogue;the latest catalogue;illustrated catalogue list

(3)the best price;competitive price;indication of price;moderate/reasonable price;favorable price;practical/workable price;rock-bottom price

(4)terms of payment/payment terms

(5)quantity discount;special discount

(6)delivery date/date of delivery;estimated delivery date;the earliest delivery date

(7)brochure;the full details of;the full information about;publicity material;technical information

询价可分为一般询价和具体询价。

1.一般询价

在撰写一般询价函时,必须说明你想要详细了解的信息,例如价目表和目录等。

2.具体询价

具体询价是为了获取商品的详细信息,例如价格,付款条件,交货期等。

如果买方和卖方是第一次联系,买方有必要进行简短的自我介绍。
