为九广铁路公司新总部设计员工会所，包括餐厅、咖啡室、阅览室、休息室、酒吧、卡拉OK房、厨房等。该工程位于香港火炭。

设计意念

为九广铁路公司职员设计愉悦的、富有生气的聚会地方，有意识避免商业外观，目的在于加强公司各部门之间的相互关系。

挑战

为完成以上目的，在紧凑的结构和限度空间内创造一种独创性的空间。

设计方案

1.在限制性的结构柱内划分为流线型曲线和椭圆形空间。

2.特别注意细部设计和灯光设计，巧妙地应用色彩，创造不同的艺术氛围和灯光效果。

设计概念和美学

1.基于北欧人对咖啡厅微妙的感觉，而创造轻松愉快的内装饰，并有一个正规形象的餐厅。

2.广泛应用玻璃和许多不同种类型号的灯具。

3.使用线条在不同程度上表达铁路线和轨道，并变幻使用不同色彩。

General Description

To design restaurant,cafeteria,reading room,lounge,bar,karaoke rooms,kitchens etc.for the new KCRC Headquarters at Fotan,Hong Kong.

Design Brief

To design cheerful and dynamic gathering places for the KCRC staffs,deliberately avoiding a commercial look,and aimed at enhancing interaction among the various KCRC departments.

The Challenge

To fulfill the above brief and create an original,creative space that works within tight structural limitations.

Design Solution

1.The area was carved into free-flowing curved and oval spaces that work within the restrictive structural columns.

2.Great attention was given to detail and lighting design to create different types of atmosphere and lighting effects with the intelligent use of colour.

Design Concept & Aesthetics

1.Light and airy interior based on a subtle Scandinavian feel for the cafeteria,and a formalimage for the restaurant.

2.Extensive use of glass and varied light fittings.
