I have a tremendous love for Oslo ^①

The renowned sculpture of Life,

Is shaped like a pillar of heaven.

The universe exists a million years;

Human life is a flick of the finger.

Erected in the Sunshine Pavilion,

It opens a new chapter for flowers. ^②

Like swallows the couple Cao and Xie ^①

Bring back clay from the cattail fields.

With concentrated minds, they copy Creation;

Simulating attitudes, they create diverse shapes.

Charming smiles hide the inner tension;

Struggling arises from a strenuous climb.

Much moved, I can’t tear myself away;

Gripping my wrists I give a sigh of wonder.
