今天要讲的间接疑问句，就如同开头例句“我知道他是谁”所呈现的造句结构，其实是由两个句子所组成＝我知道＋他是谁。
大家不难看出，后句“他是谁”其实是前句所要说的事情；既然是事情，就必须使用肯定句写法，来符合陈述一件事情的肯定语气＝我知道＋who he is.

间接疑问句不再使用助动词do / does。
直接疑问句
以“他说什么？”这句话来说，必须靠助动词do / does来形成疑问语气，并将后面的动词打回原形＝What does he say?。
间接疑问句
以“我知道他说什么”这句话来说＝我知道他说什么这件事＝“I know it.”的概念。
后句的“他说什么”原本该写成“What does he say”，但在这里，它是前句所要说的事情，因此要改成肯定句不再使用助动词的写法＝what he says，其中say还要配合第三人称单数“他”写成says。
