① Near, far, wherever you are.
wherever相当于no matter where。near和far是两个意义相反的形容词，运用了矛盾修辞法；far和are都有相同的元音[ɑ:]，运用了尾韵的修辞手法，表达了歌者无论身在何方，都愿意为爱守候的愿望。
② Once more you open the door.
