4 The Fox and the Stork

A fox invited a stork to dinner and only gave her the soup in a shallow dish. The fox drank the soup with relish, while the stork had no way to eat the food with her long mouth. Her sad look made the cunning fox feel happy. Soon, the stork invited the fox to dinner. The stork drank the soup in front of the fox from a water jar with a long and thin neck. The stork could easily put her mouth into the water jar to eat the food, but the fox couldn’t.
