An olive tree mocked a f ig tree for losing its leaves at a certain season of the year. She said, “You lose your leaves every fall and are bare till spring. Look at me, I am always green and thriving all year round.” Soon, there was a heavy snow fall. Snow fell on the leaves of the olive tree more and more, and caused her to bend and break. The snow was huge, but passed harmlessly through the f ig’s bare branches. He survived to a harvest.
