Almost every day we can find that international tourism has become part of our lives and is accepted by most people. Undoubtedly, increasing people come to enjoy this recreational way. However, recently some people hold negative attitude toward it—they become suspicious of international tourism, because they think that conflicts might arise from a lack of cultural respect—naturally, as a person who is conscious of society, I illustrate my attitude towards the problem as follows.
Actually, we cannot deny that some tourists, more or less, hurt the local citizens and their mischievous and even ridiculous activities result in the confrontation in host countries, but if we denigrate the role of international tourism, and even criticize it, regarding it as expendable, we just throw out the baby with the bathwater.
It is obvious that international tourism brings large amount of benefit for many countries, especially in South Africa, which used to be a poor and backward place. As international tourism booms, it now has become one of the most promising and famous tourist attractions. Additionally, the people living there live a better life in their homeland. Indeed, international tourism is the root of all growth. In fact, it is an absolutely good evidence to dictate how great the international tourism is.
In conclusion, international tourism does not simply make people’s life colorful, but improve their living standards in a rapid way, even if several risks can be inevitably posed (for example, some misunderstandings and even conflicts between the people who have different backgrounds). As a result, it seems necessary to advertise the importance of cultural respect and encourage people from different cultures to be more friendly to one another.

Modern technological devices such as computers have found wide application in our daily life and industrial work. Although some people claim that they have a bad influence on students, I think the advantages outweigh disadvantages. Among countless factors that influence my decision, there are three conspicuous aspects.
One of the advantages of using computers is the convenience. We can store and access files by using computers, and we no longer need to rewrite the same file. It really brings us a lot of convenience, especially when we need to make a new file by changing the original draft slightly.
Another reason for my preference for computers is that they make us work more efficiently. Huge amount of data processing can be done with the help of computers, which saves a lot of time. And you can also save time on waiting, wandering if you choose to shop on the Internet.
Finally, using computers can minimize human errors. We usually make mistakes because we cannot take everything into account. By using computers, choices can be made more objectively.

Besides, too much time staring at the screen of the computer is the main cause of nearsightedness and some vertebral diseases.
On the whole, computers have both advantages and disadvantages. But fairly speaking, everyone should admit that the merits of computers outweigh the troubles they bring to us, which, after all, is a problem of how to use them properly.
