Li Junru is a researcher and PhD supervisor who receives special government allowance from the State Council of China. He was Vice President of the Central Party School, a member of the 10th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and a member of the Standing Committee of the 11th CPPCC National Committee. Now he serves as Vice President of the China Society for Human Rights Studies (CSHRS) as well as a member of the Advisory Committee for the Research and Development of Marxist Theory. He has published dozens of books as well as hundreds of papers.
