摘要： 以往中国学者对动物的讨论大多集中于科技史、环境史、中西交通史等领域，议题同质化倾向严重，且缺乏人文上的关怀和理论方法上的突破。在“动物转向”刺激之下，近年西方动物史研究方兴未艾，这股研究热潮亦影响到中国史学界。一方面，“动物转向”思潮促成研究视角的转换，增辟了众多有价值的研究方向；另一方面，如何立足本土构建符合中国学术语境的动物史研究也成为当前的重要议题。中国古代博物学传统强调人与自然之深入互动，与“多物种史观”下注重人与动物互相塑造、协同演进的价值关怀若合符节。博物学视野下的动物史研究能够丰富对古代知识、学术、思想和社会的认知，或将成为新的学术增长点。

Abstract: In the past, most of the Chinese scholars’ discussions on animals focused on the history of science and technology, environmental history and the history of transportation between China and the West. However, these issues tend to be very homogenous and lack of humanistic care and breakthroughs in theory. Stimulated by the “Animal Turn”, the study of animal history in the West has been flourishing in recent years, and this upsurge has also affected Chinese historians. On the one hand, the “Animal Turn” has contributed to the change of research perspective and added many valuable directions. On the other hand, how to construct the research theory in accordance with the Chinese academic context has also become significant to us. The traditional emphasis of ancient Chinese Bowuxue on the deep interaction between human and nature is consistent with the value care of the multi-species historical view. The study of animal history from perspective of Bowuxue can enrich our cognition of Chinese ancient knowledge, scholarship, thought and society, and this may be a new source of academic growth.
