Andrew Roberts is the bestselling author of The Storm of War , Masters and Commanders , Hitler and Churchill, Napoleon and Wellington , and Waterloo, among other books. A fellow of the Napoleonic Institute and of the Royal Society of Literature, he has won many prizes, including the Wolfson History Prize and the British Army Military Book Award. A visiting professor at King's College, Roberts has written and presented a number of popular television documentaries, including one based on this book. Napoleon was awarded the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for Biography and the Grand Prix of the Fondation Napoléon and was an Economist Book of the Year. It has been optioned by The Weinstein Company for a TV series.
