Preface

Under the condition of globalization,it is the foundation of higher education to cultivate talents with international vision,who can participate in international affairs and competitions.Experiment is an important part of chemistry:it is not only the basis and key for learning chemistry,but also it plays a special role in training students＇practical ability and innovation ability.At present,imported English chemical experiment textbooks are expensive,and usually they adopt British-American system of units.At the same time,domestic English chemical experimental textbooks are very few,and there is no room for choice.These give us the motive force to publish this textbook.

This textbook is guided by the spirit of the National Conference on Undergraduate Education in Colleges and Universities in the new era and the concept of new discipline and specialty construction,based on the characteristics of domestic chemical experiment teaching,absorbing and learning from the experimental curriculum system and experimental contents of world-class universities.This textbook also keeps up with the pace of experimental teaching reform,and pays attention to the cultivation of innovation ability and interest in teaching objects.

Some contents of the teaching materials are directly taken from the self-made experimental handout of Reading Academy of Nanjing University of Information Science and Engineering,which has been used for many years.In the process of compiling this textbook,the accumulated teaching experience and self compiled handouts were further expanded,optimized and standardized,and officially published.Each experiment in this textbook is carefully selected,covering the basic experimental operation training to material synthesis,material identification,and then to qualitative and quantitative analysis.These experimental contents not only deepen and strengthen the theoretical knowledge of inorganic and analytical chemistry,but also consolidate students＇experimental operation training.
