5.6　Storage capacity survey

5.6.1　After the storage cavern project is accepted，storage capacity survey shall be made to determine the shape and capacity of the cavern group.In the storage capacity survey，the caverns，pump pits，water collecting tanks，as well as the connecting tunnels，access tunnels and shafts included in the cavern group shall be surveyed.

5.6.2　Before the storage capacity survey，survey and calculation schemes shall be prepared.

5.6.3　The storage capacity survey shall comply with the following requirements:

1　The interval of the storage capacity survey cross-sections should not be greater than 2m，and the interval of the circumferential survey points should not be greater than 0.5m；

2　At least two storage capacity surveys shall be performed.The error of the two surveys shall not be more than 0.5％.Otherwise，more surveys shall be carried out；

3　The final storage capacity survey results should be comprehensively calculated using the data of the two survey points.

5.6.4　Before the storage cavern is put into use，the following storage capacity survey documents shall be submitted:

1　Tables showing 10mm depth-capacity of all the cavern groups；

2　Curves showing 10mm depth-capacity of all the cavern groups；
