4.4　Materials preparation

4.4.1　Electric，pneumatic，or diesel-driven machinery with purifier should be used for underground construction.The allocation of the machinery for the construction of the storage caverns shall comply with the following requirements:

1　The construction machinery allocated shall have the capacity greater than the balanced production capacity；

2　Emergency power supplies and water pumps shall be provided.

4.4.2　The construction machinery and tools shall be prepared and mobilized to the site according to the construction schedule.

4.4.3　The installation and adjustment of the construction machinery shall comply with the following requirements:

1　The construction machinery should be placed where the foundation is stable.The construction machinery shall not be placed where there is a risk of dangerous rock，landslide，debris flow，blastingincurred flying stone，or vehicle impact.In special cases，reliable protection measures shall be taken.

2　The mechanical equipment shall be installed and commissioned according to the manual.

4.4.4　The materials used as part of the project shall be tested.
