1.0.1 This code is prepared with a view to standardizing engineering construction process design for optical cable plant，to ensuring that process design technology of optical cable plant is advanced，practical，scientific and reasonable and conforms to requirements of safety in production，energy conservation and emission reduction，and requirements of occupational health.
1.0.2 This code is applicable to the process design of new construction，expansion and technical renovation project of optical cable plant.
1.0.3 In addition to requirements stipulated in this code，the process design of optical cable plant shall be complied with those stipulated in current relevant standards of the nation.
