Socialization is the process of internalizing social norms and ideologies in one’s growth．Socialization encompasses both learning and teaching．That is，each child should be socialized by learning or being taught about social norms，ideologies，and other principles or practices that one human is expected to know about．Socialization is strongly connected to developmental psychology．Humans need social experiences to learn their cultures and to survive．Thus，socialization essentially represents the whole process of learning throughout the life course and is a central influence on the behavior，beliefs，and actions of everyone．
