I like the saying: “The grass is always greener on the other side.” To me, it means we usually believe life in places 1 from where we are living is for some reason better. Considering this, I have tried to be 2 with the place I lived in throughout my life: a regular city in the center of the United States. However, due to 3 conditions, I started to think about changing my life and 4 to another area.
While living in a city, I 5 what I enjoyed least was the rush and the large amount of 6 that I received. Every morning, I saw crowds of people 7 . Every day, I was seeing TV advertisements I had 8 no need for. There was no 9 from it, because advertisements were everywhere.
“The place I choose to live will be 10 and won’t cause me pressure,” I said to myself, and kept on 11 . “Mountains—that is where I need to live,” I said to myself, and kept on looking with my intuition (直觉).
I was making my 12 for a couple more months. During this 13 , I made solid efforts to realize my 14 for a way of life, career, communication, and so on. After a period of serious 15 , I had finally stopped searching and 16 Scotland—Aberdeenshire, in particular. It looked 17 like what I needed: mountainous region (山地), nice people, suitable climate, the English language being spoken, and both modern culture and lots of 18 to think in quiet places.
“Well, it seems like I’ve found a 19 place for myself to live,” I said to myself, and started to make 20 for it.
