23. How can a claim unable to come into existence in dreams be clarified in the netherworld?

眉睫才交 ^① ，梦里便不能张主 ^② ；眼光落地 ^③ ，泉下 ^④ 又安得分明？

【中文注释】

① 眉睫才交：双眼闭合，即睡觉状。

② 张主：阐述主张。

③ 眼光落地：指垂死之人的目光。典自宋代洪迈的《夷坚支志甲·巴东太守》：“盖将亡时精神消散，所谓眼光落地者此欤？”以及朱熹的《答吕子约书》之七：“魄之降乎土，犹今人言眼光落地云尔。”
