Lee and Pat are sitting in their classroom. The teacher is speaking to the children, but Lee and Pat are not listening. They are both looking out of the window. They are looking out of the window because they are waiting for Mommy.
李和佩特坐在教室里。老师在给孩子们讲课，但是李和佩特没有听课。他俩看着窗户外。他俩向窗户外张望，等着妈妈。
Today, Mommy is coming to the children’s school in her car. She is going to take Lee and Pat to the shops. Lee and Pat like to go to shops. That is why they are looking out of the window. They want Mommy to come soon. They want her to come soon so they can go shopping with her.
今天，妈妈会开车来学校。她会带着两个孩子去商店。李和佩特喜欢逛商店。这就是为什么他俩向窗户外张望。他俩想要妈妈早点到来。他俩盼望她早来，这样就能一起去逛商店了。
The teacher can see that Lee and Pat are looking out of the window. She can see that they are not listening to her. “Lee! Pat!” says the teacher. “Stop looking out of the window! You are in school now. When you are in school, you should listen to the teacher. Listen to me. I want to tell you what you have to do for tomorrow’s class.”
老师看到李和佩特向窗户外张望。她看到他俩没有听课。“李！佩特！”老师说，“不要看窗户外！你们现在在学校。在学校里，你们应该听老师讲课。听我讲课。我要告诉你们明天上课做什么。”
Lee and Pat stop looking out of the window. They look at the teacher, but they are not really listening to her. They are thinking about the shops. Pat knows Mommy wants to go to the shops because they only have a little food at home now.
李和佩特不再看窗外。他俩看着老师，但是他俩其实没有听课。他俩想着商店。佩特知道妈妈要去商店，因为目前家里仅剩一点点食物了。
Mommy wants to go to the shops and get enough food for the week. She will take the children to a shop that sells fruit, a shop that sells meat, and a shop that sells fish. Then, they will go to a shop that sells drinks like milk and orange-juice. After that, they will go to a lot of other shops too. It is the other shops that Lee really wants to go to.
妈妈要去商店购买足够这周吃的食物。她会带着两个孩子去水果店、肉店和鱼店。然后，他们会去卖牛奶和橙汁的饮料店。之后，他们还会去很多其他商店。李非常想去其他商店。
Now, Lee is looking out of the window again. He can see Mommy’s car coming down the road. Now, Mommy’s car is stopping. It is stopping outside the school. Mommy is getting out of the car and coming into the school. She is coming to take the children shopping.
现在，李再次看向窗外。他看到妈妈的车沿路驶来。现在，妈妈的车停下来。车停在学校外。妈妈下了车，来到学校。她要带着孩子们去逛商店。
