The Covid-19 epidemic in 2020 had a comprehensive impact on the whole human society. While altering the individual behavior of human beings as well as the collective behavior of countries and nations tremendously，it may impose further influence on human thinking and culture，and therefore becoming a turning point in the history of human culture. As an indispensable part of human culture，intangible cultural heritage（hereinafter referred to as ICH）has also been challenged unprecedentedly by the outbreak of the epidemic. In retrospect of the practice of ICH protection in Shanghai in 2020，six key words cannot be ignored，namely：online，out of circle，integration of culture and tourism，cultural innovation，Yangtze River Delta，and poverty alleviation. The keywords “online”and “out of the circle”embody the innovative development and creative transformation of ICH；the emergence of “integration of culture and tourism”and “culturalinnovation”is the manifestation of ICH's value in constructing a new development pattern；keywords like “Yangtze River Delta”and “Poverty Alleviation”have certain similarities，reflecting the important function of ICH in constructing the consciousness of cultural community.

It is believed by “Post-epidemic Era and Intangible Cultural Heritage”column that，in this post-epidemic era，we must continue carrying forward folklorist thinking and adhere to epidemic prevention whereas ICH must be in good command of the online and offline integration，and mass folk activities should be resumed gradually；This column also analyzes the challenges and opportunities confronted by the development of heritage tourism in the post-epidemic era，and summarizes the new practices of ICH protection in Jinshan District in the changing situation. In the column“Yangtze River Delta Integration and Intangible Cultural Heritage”，the authors analyze the relationship between Huizhou Mulian Opera and the couplet culture，interpreting the cultural connotation and social function contained in Huizhou Mulian Opera couplet；By carrying out innovative practice and exploration on the protection and development path of rural traditional crafts and intangible heritage，this column demonstrates the development and protection of Fangfeng's mythological resources in the Yangtze River Delta from the perspective of ICH，in which the nearest index method and the nuclear density estimation method are adopted to uncover the time and space distribution characteristics of ICH in Jiangsu Province.the section titled “Research on theories and methods of intangible cultural heritage protection”puts forward the concept for the compilation of contemporary China's ICH map，summarizing and reflecting on the pilot work of “Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Community”in Fengxian District，Shanghai. It conducts research on the value and path of inheriting the red gene in the ideological and political work of private universities in Shanghai，and studies the application of ICH protection in international Chinese teaching；the “Case study and practical research of intangible cultural heritage protection”section discusses the image narrative content of the classic Luojing cross pattern and the folklore implication carried by the pattern，summarizing the practical experience that economic folklore helps ICH development while pointing out the value of “Jinshan Sea Fishing Map”for the ICH of Shanghai fishery，with contemplations about how to pass the Chongming“Bird Post”under the strictest wild animal “fasting order”.
