The Eagle and the Fox

An eagle and a fox became good friends and decided to live near each other. They believed that it would be good for their friendship. The eagle made a nest in the branches of a tall tree, and the fox settled among the bushes which were at the foot of the same tree. Then they both produced children and had a good time together as good neighbors .

One day, the fox went out for food. The eagle was short of food, so she swooped down, took one of the little foxes up to her nest and ate him with her children.

Suddenly , a strong wind arose. The sparks from the burning meat were blown into the nest and caused a big fire.
