The Lion and theMouse

One day, when a lion was asleep, a mouse ran past him and accidently woke this giant animal up. The lion was very angry, so he caught the mouse and was going to kill him.

“Please don't kill me!” begged the mouse. “If you let me go, I promise I will help you one day.”

“You? A useless little mouse?” The lion thought it was funny and let him go.

Soon after that day, some hunters caught the lion and tied him with the strong ropes. The mouse heard him roaring , came and cut of the ropes with his teeth, and set him free.

“You laughed at me when I said I would help you one day.Now you know that even a little mouse can help a big lion,” said the mouse.
