The Goatherd and the Wild Goats

When a goatherd drove his goats back home at sunset, he found there were some wild goats in his flock , so he shut them up together with his own goats. The next day it snowed really hard.He couldn't take the goats out as usual but kept them in the fold .To his own goats, he only gave a little food to keep them alive. To those wild goats, he was very generous . He ofered them plenty of food in order to attract them to stay.

A few days later, the weather was better, and the goatherd drove all the goats out to feed. Suddenly, the wild goats began to run away to the mountains. Shocked and angry, the goatherd cried, “You are such ungrateful creatures! I took more care of you than of my own goats, but now you leave me like this.”

One of wild goats heard him and stopped.
