一般过去时用来表示在过去某个时间发生的动作和情况。
一般过去时的句子中常含有表示过去时间的时间状语，如：
last week
two days ago
in 2015
last month
the day before yesterday
just now
last year
yesterday morning
the other day
...
Bessie won a prize last week . 贝茜上周获奖了。
They went to the museum yesterday . 他们昨天去了博物馆。
I did not ask Jimmy for help. 我没有向吉米寻求帮助。
