The school requires freshmen and sophomores to live on campus. Do you think this is a good idea？
1.强制大一和大二的学生住校，是不尊重学生的自由。
2.大学宿舍并不是一个理想的住宿环境，宿舍里很吵，学生们需要共享设施，不方便。
Totally a bad idea. I think the students should have the freedom to choose where to live, on campus or off campus. It’s none of the school’s business, and the requirement is against the students’will. Personally, I wouldn’t want to live in school dormitory because it’s so difficult to have some quiet time in the dorm when there’s so much going on around you there:people having loud conversations, playing games, racing up and down the hallway…Additionally, space and privacy are scarce. There’s a good chance you’ll be sharing a small room with several people and bathrooms are typically shared, which means you might find yourself fighting for shower time. Why should I be forced to live like that？
这绝对是一个坏主意，我觉得学生应该有选择住在哪里的自由，不管是校内还是校外。这跟学校没有关系。学校的要求是违反学生意愿的。就个人来讲，我不愿意住在学校宿舍，因为宿舍里很难有安静的时候，周围总有很多事情发生：有人大声讲话，玩游戏，在走廊里跑来跑去……另外，空间和隐私都很难得，你很可能要和几个人住在一个小房间里，卫生间通常是公用的，这意味着你洗澡都要抢时间。我为什么要被迫这样生活呢？
