Some universities allow people from the local community to learn courses for free, but will not provide feedback for their class report or assignments. What’s your opinion on that?
I think it’s a sensible idea. It provides people from the local community an opportunity to learn college courses. It helps them acquire the skills and abilities that are needed to advance their careers. And it also helps bring the schools and the community closer, strengthen their ties. Since this is free, I understand that universities don’t provide feedback because that’s going to add to the workload that teachers already have. And if feedback is included, it’s going to take away some of the school’s resources that full-time students deserve. I don’t think students are going to be too happy about that.
1.advance careers
2.add to the workload
3.full-time students
