Do you think it is reasonable to give a lower grade to the assignment handed in after deadline？
1.老师给所有人同样的时间完成作业，没能做到的学生理应受罚。
2.如果对晚交作业的学生网开一面，对其他学生不公平。
I think it’s very reasonable that the teacher takes a few points off your score when you hand in your assignment late. First of all, every student is given the same amount of time to finish an assignment. When you are not able to meet the deadline, then you are breaking the rule, and you should be punished. And when all the other students hand in their assignments on time and you are given an extension, if you don’t get a lower score, then it’s not fair to other students. I don’t think the teacher should make an exception for you.
我认为当你迟交作业时，老师扣掉你几分是很合理的。首先，每个学生都有同样的时间来完成作业。当你不能在最后期限前完成时，你就是在破坏规则，所以你应该受到惩罚。其次，当其他学生都能按时完成作业而只有你被允许延期的时候，如果你没有得到一个较低的分数，对其他学生来说就不公平。我认为老师不应该为你破例。
